AI consulting services that leave your team running the machine.
AI consulting services cover strategy, implementation, and training for putting AI to work in a business. Data Jockey, with operations across the United States and Europe, does all three, and the work runs on systems you already own. We bring your team to fluency through coursework, workshops, and coaching, and everything we build stays yours.
What does an AI consultant actually do?
The job is to move your company from watching AI to running on it. We start by unifying your company's data in one place that you own, so every automation and every report works from the same numbers. Then our engineers build automations inside the tools your team already uses, and your staff learns alongside them.
The education runs on three tracks. Tailored coursework is built around your business and the tools your team already uses, so every lesson maps to their real work. Hands-on workshops have your team building real AI workflows alongside our engineers. One-on-one coaching works on each person's own tasks, until AI is simply how they do the job.
A typical engagement runs twelve weeks. By week four the fundamentals are down, by week eight your people are building on their own, and by week twelve they are fully fluent.
How does Data Jockey compare to AI consulting companies?
Most firms give you one piece of the picture. Consultancies deliver advice, and any automation they build runs on infrastructure you don't own or control. Automation firms build, and the work often lives on their infrastructure. AI platforms sell software that your team still has to figure out alone.
We train your team, we build your automations, the work runs on your own systems, and you own all of it. When the engagement ends, everything keeps running on your infrastructure without us, and your staff knows how to run it and how to improve it.
Who is AI consulting for?
We work with businesses of all shapes and sizes, and we serve companies across manufacturing and distribution. Each of those has its own page describing how the work applies.
What does AI consulting cost?
We publish no prices. Scope varies too much between a ten-person agency and a two-hundred-person manufacturer for a rate card to be honest, so a thirty-minute discovery call is where we put real numbers on your situation.
Questions we hear
- Is there a minimum business size you work with?
- We work with businesses of all shapes and sizes.
- How fast does the first tool ship?
- The speed at which the first tool ships depends entirely on system access and how clean the data is, but is usually faster than people expect. We will have a better idea after a discovery call.
- What happens after the engagement ends?
- After our engagement ends, all of the value we've provided continues running on your infrastructure without us. Your staff has now matriculated to understanding how to run those processes and how to iterate them. This is what differentiates us from traditional firms.

There is no pitch. We spend the call understanding your pain points, whether that means responsible AI adoption or quantifying where automation will pay off, and providing a plan of attack.
