Data Jockey LLC
Privacy policy
Effective August 11, 2026. This policy covers the datajockey.us website and the DJ Studio product. It says what we collect, what we do with it, and how to reach us about any of it. We wrote it to be read.
Who we are
Data Jockey LLC is a Wisconsin company. We build and run business automation for our clients, including DJ Studio, a service that produces and publishes video content to channels our clients own. For anything in this policy, write to hello@datajockey.us or use the contact form on this site.
What this website collects
The forms on this site ask for your name, email address, company, and whatever you type into a message field. We use that information to reply to you, to prepare for a call you booked, and to keep a record of the conversation in our customer system. Our email delivery runs through Resend, which processes your address for us and for no other purpose.
This site runs no advertising pixels and no third party analytics scripts. We do not build advertising audiences from your visit, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
DJ Studio and your Google account
DJ Studio publishes videos to YouTube channels that belong to our clients. A client connects their own channel through Google sign in and grants us two permissions: uploading videos, and managing channel details such as thumbnails, playlists, and captions. We use those permissions for exactly one job: publishing content the channel owner has approved, to their own channel.
We store the access credential Google issues, encrypted, for as long as the client works with us. We store the videos we produce and the performance numbers YouTube reports for them, so the client can see what published and how it did. We never post to a channel without an approval, we never read private account data beyond what those two permissions cover, and we never sell, share, or advertise with any of it.
Data Jockey's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. DJ Studio uses YouTube API Services, so the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions page. Revoking ends our ability to publish to the channel immediately, and the channel and everything on it stays yours.
Retention and deletion
We keep client data while the engagement runs. When a client leaves, they can export everything that is theirs, we revoke our own access grants, and we delete their stored credentials and files. Anyone can ask us what we hold about them, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address above. We answer within 30 days.
Who we share with
We use a small set of service providers to run our systems: hosting, email delivery, and the AI and video vendors that produce client content. Each one processes data only to do its job for us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date at the top. A change never reduces what we promise about selling or advertising, because we do neither.
